McIntosh & Associates is seeking a detail-oriented Civil Designer/Drafter with a minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering design, particularly in land development. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and have a strong understanding of civil engineering principles. While a Civil Engineering license is preferred, it is not required.
What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop detailed design plans for residential, commercial, and industrial land development projects.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to create accurate and efficient site plans, grading plans, sewer plans, storm drain plans, and other related drawings.
- Ensure all designs comply with local and state regulations, as well as company standards.
- Review and revise designs based on feedback from project managers and agencies.
- Maintain organized project files and documentation.
- Stay updated with industry trends, software advancements, and best practices.
Position Details :
- Civil Drafting Experience
- Preferred EIT
- Strong experience with Civil3D and MS Office products
- Understanding of Civil Concepts specifically concerning Land Development residential, industrial & commercial.
- Valid and clean drivers license

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil design, with a focus on land development projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality, accurate designs.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- A Civil Engineering license (PE) is preferred but not required.

$30.00/ hour to $60.00/ hour, DOE.
